A very good listen

I have now listened to all 4 of the books by J. R. R. Tolkien. I started with the Hobbit and finished with the return of the king. I enjoyed all 4 of them and will listen to them again periodically. I have read all 4 of the books and seen all the movies. These versions of the story I will add to my collection of Audible books that continues to grow. I'm sure I will enjoy many more hours of good listens as time progresses.

A very good listen

I was surprised by the format of a play about the Borgia, I didn't expect that. I thought it would be another dry book about the Borgia's. It was not only fun to listen to but left you sitting on the edge of your seat wondering what would happen next. If your looking for something different this is it. I really enjoyed listening to this book and suspect you will also. Happy listening!!

A very good listen

After listening to The wars of the Roses I now have a much better grasp of the entire story. The narration was excellent and the quality of the effort to relay the story was wonderful. I enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to anyone interested in this period of English history.

I have always enjoyed the stories by Tolkien and this version of The Hobbit I completely enjoyed. The voices were wonderful and it was fun to visualize the adventure as it unfolded. I intend to listen to it again and again. Great Job!!

This would have been a good story but the habit of leaving sentences hanging was annoying. I was eager to finish this story and was glad when it was over.

I enjoyed listening to this story. The author made the events seem to come to life. I could see in my minds eye the events as they unfolded. He made each part real to me and gave me a better understand what happened during the Summer of Blood!

A very interesting story

As I listened to this story I began to understand better the Catholic faith. It never dawned on me how much Catholic's suffered during this difficult period. I'm not a Catholic but I realized their faith was also important to them. I think all believers weather Catholic or not should appreciate this story.
