MC is so annoying, spent over half the story wishing they had completed the registration on the first day.

Enjoying the storyline so far, but
Revisado: 10-05-22
Then came to the obligatory trans character that every new story has to have and had to stop and laugh and ask...
will there ever be another story written that does not toss in an irrelevant gay/trans character just to check a box?

Historia
Lincoln Miller, an ex-Navy SEAL turned NCIS special agent, is sent to Aquarius, the world’s only sub-oceanic research facility, located off the Florida Keys, to investigate reports of ocean dumping. A week into his stay, strange red flakes descend from the surface. Scores of fish are dead and dying, poisoned by the debris that turns to powder in Miller’s fingers and tastes like blood. Miller heads for the surface, ready to fight whoever is polluting on his watch. But he finds nothing. No ships. No polluters.... No oxygen.

Enjoying story so far a few hours in, but come on the MC may be resourceful but he was never a seal with the number of dumb things he has done so far

Firefly cranked up on Meth plus a Space Wizard!
- De LITRPG Audiobook Reviews en 04-27-18
Believe some of the other reviews, but not all
Revisado: 03-29-19
Ok lets start with the true. This story is, like many have said, basically a light snack. There is no real meat from either character or plot development here. However, it is an easy listen when you dont need to devote your entire attention to it, easy to miss or skip parts and really not mind it.
Now to the untrue. Comparing this story to Firefly is like comparing a Goldfish to a Shark.

Pass on this one
Revisado: 03-08-19
Pass on this one unless you enjoy listening to the same thing over and over and over again. Or unless you are a masochist like me and just cannot leave a series unfinished. I have noted this lazy bit of writing in the past few books as well but this last one is by far the worst of them all. The Author continually repeats himself over past events. I mean repeats himself to the point of just copy and pasting almost verbatim what he has written before. It was just a horrid listen, pass on it if you can

One of most unlikable heros ever
Revisado: 01-09-18
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
No, because of Durand
Any additional comments?
Ok as I try to restart this story for the third time just wanted to make a quick review. The narration is good, the story is ok but the ignorant hypocritical self-righteous hero Durand has to be one of the most unlikable characters I has read in a long time. Which is a shame given how likeable the characters were in Ready Player One. If Suarez had killed Durand off in the first couple chapters I would have enjoy this book much more.

Dont make same mistake as me
Revisado: 05-18-11
Make sure you read all the reviews before purchasing. Not sure how they are sorted but truest reviews are at the end of the list. Don’t make my mistake of reading only first or second page of reviews. This had to be the worst 12 hours of Pollyanna Pablum I have ever had to sit through. In the Prologue the author said he thought this was his best book in the series. That’s enough to ensure that this is the last book of Robert J. Sawyer I ever listen to.

How many times can you describe a sunset?
Revisado: 11-06-10
Two real comments. First, how many times do you need to describe the scenery? I mean really 20 minutes on the color and feeling of a sunset, yawn. Second, I grok that Valentine Michael Smith made a much more enjoyable and believable messiah than Aenea. However it is the final book so even though it's the weakest of the set you have to listen.
