The doorbell rings, just days after my beloved husband’s sudden death. I don’t recognise the woman on our doorstep, with her blonde highlights, a diamond bracelet identical to my own and a bouncing baby boy in her arms. As I show her inside, I notice her eyes grow wide as she takes in our spacious hallway, and the big squashy sofas that we all used to pile on. Wonderful performance and story

I really enjoyed this story as it was not the usual Sherlock Holmes and Moriarty interaction. I hope that there will be more in the future. It was well performed by all the actors. Immensely entertaining. A twist on the usual story.

I found this book to be another great read. It tied together with the other book on Slavery in the US but of course expanded on all other countries that participated in this tragic era in history. Once again Jason Zenobia is a great narrator.

I enjoyed this to a certain degree. I had some trouble following the story because the narrator has to go back in time and at times it is not clear. I had enjoyed this author's first novel so I thought i would try this one. for this read you need to pay close attention.
