I generally buy books that have a longer length because I want more content for the dollar but holy poop this book is great I listen to Travis baldry before with the Ripple system and I had also researched online for a decent book but holy poop this one is great it has some laugh out loud moments but it's generally a cute story. this humble listener highly recommend this book for what that's worth

book 1 was good, a little cringy at times but great anti hero story. within first hour of book 2 consensual rape starts. this is no longer the fun mild toilet humor book I was hoping for.

I almost didn't get this because of all the negative reviews but I'm glad I did.
- the narrator is not the best, but far from the worst I have heard. not nearly as robotic as others have said. not a lot of distinct character voices though
- yes there is underage sex...around 3 sentences of it...hide your children, high school age kids got nakid
- is the MC overpowered? not really more like right place right time,but honestly who wants to read a lit RPG about a crappy guy always sucking.
- there are plenty of side characters that interact with the 3 MS and the development of both the story and characters is pretty good
- Aster is freekin adorable

if you are on the fence is would recommend you get this book. i am on my third relisten to it on preparation of book 6 and still enjoy it.

as many others have said books one and two were amazing this was just so lackluster. it kind of felt like an incomplete first draft that nobody bothered to refine. I really hope it four is better since I really loved the series initially

WTF is with all the hits in the shoulder?

seriously like 90% of the times somebody gets hit or damaged it's in their shoulder there are a couple headshots a couple arms blown off likes it but the rest of the time somebody gets hit in the shoulder I don't know why this bothers me so much but it really does. other than that this is a great book. side note the descriptions of powers lasting like 15 minutes of audible time are a little extreme

This narrator though...

This guy can't even maintain the same voice for characters in same book, let alone the whole series.
Not too mention the 7 or 8 male voices he tops out at and 2 "female" ones. Story is great though.
