What a Beautiful ending to a much Loved Series

Mrs. Cole delivered an ending that comes full circle. What a brilliant way to end a series I have loved for many years.

As for the narration, :
The narration was not the same as in previous books. I was so excited to see Emma Gavlin returning to finish this series. However, her performances fell a bit flat for me. Several times I couldn't differentiate who was speaking and it got confusing, especially in the battle scenes. Her accents for my beloved characters were not there to the point where most of the male characters sounded the same.

Emotional Roller Coaster

After reading so many negative reviews on this book I wanted to add why I LOVE this book.
I don't know if listening to the book made it so much better, but Julia Whelan knows how to deliver a story.

All the POVs that are in the book add so much depth and give you the chance to understand why each character is fighting in this war.
I love that we see more into the Gardner's family tree and wish there was a little more with those characters, also seeing some much-loved characters from Rebel Mages made my heart leap. I think these additions were needed in this book.

Ellorens growth in power is as expected, The Demon Tide picks up exactly where Shadow Wand leaves off so we are seeing Elloren on her own now, and for the first time she's trying to be more confident and prove that she can do this! She's learning how to control this power. It's not something you just know, and honestly, if the story ended up being a different way I wouldn't understand that.
The Demon Tide is set on a Holiday much like Valentine's Day, Ms. Forest explains the backdrop in such detail you can visualize just how beautiful the scenery is.
The war is about to begin and who knows what tomorrow brings.? I cannot wait for the conclusion in The Battle of Erthia!

Not for Animal Lovers! Very twisted

This is NOT for people who love animals. I like Dark mystery thrillers but this was sick and twisted. I never turn off a book, but I couldn't listen anymore. There should be some kind of disclaimer.

I DONOT recommend Audible. Read book instead

I have been trying to listen to this book for 3 days now. Every time I turn it on I can't listen for more than 10 minutes. The narration is HORRIBLE! I should have read the reviews before purchasing this book. There are 2 narrators so you would think at least one of them would do a good job, but unfortunately, it's hard to understand what's going on in the book and who is saying what to whom. It feels like your listening to someone who is uninterested in the story they are telling and trying to get it over with. This is so disappointing since it is the last book in this series.

I would suggest to SKIP the Audible version and buy the book to read instead.

Clever & Well Written

What is there to say besides, Brilliant! Listened to this in 2 days!
I didn't want to stop listening, I had to know what was going to happen next!
Very rarely does a book keep my attention these days. I was pleasantly surprised to stumble across this series and once I started listening I couldn't stop until it was over!

My Favorite Series

What was one of the most memorable moments of Clockwork Angel?

*****SPOLIER ALERT***** When Will finally tells Tessa that he loves her, only to find out that He's too late and his Parabati Jim has already proposed to her! and she said Yes! I was heartbroken.

Any additional comments?

There are so many reasons why I love this series. I have read and listened to hundreds of books but this series is my all time favorite. The love the relationships between Will, Tessa & Jim.

Couldn't Stop Listening, Wish there was a sequel!

Would you consider the audio edition of Collide to be better than the print version?

I prefer the audio version vs the books, only because I can work and listen at the same time. I now can listen to my books all day and be productive!

Any additional comments?

Not at all what I was expecting, but in a good way. It's worth the read and you won't be disappointed.
