Earnest and Heartfelt

Classic John Green In every way. It's unabashed earnestness is refreshing in a time when being cynical and nihilistic is what's expected, but it's not blindly optimistic or full of toxic positivity. I worried that it would feel too stuck in time because of the pandemic references, but to me it just made me appreciate that we're starting to heal.

Narrator's voice drove me up the wall

The book was fine, but the narrator gives these like overly feminine anime voices to some of the characters that drove me insane.
