If Disney made a Sherlock Holmes movie

This writer has penned some excellent Sherlock Holmes books. I don't know why she had to bring the woke insanity of the 2020's into his world.

Most audacious Strike novel yet

I like it when “Galbraith” tackles real world issues in this series. The last novel did a great job of representing online bullying and its effects, and this one (in my opinion) shows what’s going on in Scientology. I love how the characters have evolved over the years and how amazing all the villains are.

Nihilistic and exciting

Very fast-paced with zero filler. The hero(?) of the story asks a lot of questions about the Jedi that readers of Star Wars books have probably asked themselves. I liked the plot twists and the characters. The dialogue was solid.

Jesus Christ, Jedi

The story started out strong, but all excitement and dramatic tension dissolved once it became apparent that the protagonist is not only a Jedi with godlike powers, but he’s also an ace fighter pilot, a brilliant undercover agent, a superhero inspired by Batman, and a man with such powers of seduction that a female pirate who was ruthless and crafty enough to climb the ranks of her crew becomes a blushing schoolgirl in his presence. If the reader forgets just how amazing this guy is, all the other characters constantly tell him how great he is, and he also occasionally sings his own praises. And there is so much dialogue… I hated this book but have to give props to the amazing sound production and voice acting.

Great character development and action sequences. The Clone Wars is my favorite era of Star Wars, and it’s great to hear a story featuring characters from that time.

Annoying brats

Hearing snarky children screaming at each other for hours is not an enjoyable experience. Especially when most of the danger they encounter is the result of their own stupid actions.

Wow this is AWFUL

I wish I would’ve noticed that the author of this book wrote the horrible Force Unleashed book (which I couldn’t get through). Both books suffer from the author’s inability to structure a story. There is a mind-numbing repetition that makes you forget where or when you’re at in the story. You feel like you’re accidentally hearing the same chapter twice. I’m returning this just like I did the other book.
