Historia
From stories of resurrected mummies and thousand-year-old curses to powerful pharaohs and the coveted treasures of the Great Pyramids, ancient Egypt has had an unfaltering grip on the modern imagination. Now, in Egyptian Mythology, Geraldine Pinch offers a comprehensive introduction that untangles the mystery of Egyptian myth.

Probably better in print

The reader barely paused. The end is basically a glossary so it’s very hard to follow.

Sappy fan fiction
Revisado: 12-05-23
The book is basically a teenage romance with a tiny bit of demons thrown in. Peter Brett is totally obsessed with his intersex protagonist who is a head-case with little awareness of events around her/him. On top of that the writing is so mediocre, I put up with it in the original demon cycle saga because the content was good but this book was so painful. The book has absolutely no new lore, villain is the same from last book except now all the interesting characters are either dead or MIA. The culture of krasia regressed so it’s just a rehash of book 2 in demon cycle. Do not recommend at all unless you truly care if Olive plays “kissy” with a boy or a girl.

Historia
Red Country: Booktrack Edition adds an immersive musical soundtrack to your audiobook listening experience! Shy South hoped to bury her bloody past and ride away smiling, but she'll have to sharpen up some bad old ways to get her family back, and she's not a woman to flinch from what needs doing. She sets off in pursuit with only a pair of oxen and her cowardly old stepfather Lamb for company. But it turns out Lamb's buried a bloody past of his own. And out in the lawless Far Country the past never stays buried.

Booktrack review
Revisado: 01-24-21
The story was amazing, this review does not have anything to do with that. However the booktrack tries too hard with little results. I would say only 30% of the booktrack is congruous. The other 70% is annoying and out of place. Overall I like the effort but it failed in execution. I would recommend the normal version of this book.
