Historia
Author and advocate Mary DeMuth urges the church she loves to rise up and face the evil of sexual abuse and harassment with candor and empathy. Based on research and survivors' stories, along with fierce fidelity to Scripture, DeMuth unpacks the church's response to sexual violence and provides a healthy framework for the church to become a haven of healing instead of an institution of judgment.

Exceptional support for individuals and the greater church
Revisado: 10-26-23
This is the best resource I have come across for survivors of abuse and the church who must be ready to support them in their healing journey!

Historia
All My Knotted-Up Life is a beautifully crafted portrait of resilience and survival, a poignant reminder of God’s enduring faithfulness, and proof positive that if we ever truly took the time to hear people’s full stories . . . we’d all walk around slack-jawed.

What a blessing this book has been!
Revisado: 05-14-23
Having grown up as a child sitting on the front row of Houston’s First Baptist Church in the 80’s, my story seems inextricably tied to this story. From John Bisagno to Marge Caldwel, and many other wonderful Christ-honoring people at FBC the imprint of faith that they left on me is incalculable. I wept my way through the Audible version of this book, and I’m so thankful for your ministry, Beth. Until now upon reading this book, your ministry to me has been peripheral but profound as your Bible studies have ministered to my wife, and brought great gobs of joy and healing into our marriage. Thank you and God bless you!
