This was discussed recently in our Book Club in Chapel Hill - was one of our favorites. The writing was very well done - made you feel like you were right there, every step of the way!

I chose this rating because this is one of the most accurate and down-to-earth books I have read thus far about systemic racism in America - totally eye-opening, which we all need. I especially liked the common sense approach of Don Lemon’s take on the topic and the parts of his earlier life that relate to it. It was nice to hear it in his own voice on Audibles.
