Historia
Everything about my life is a lie. As a hidden twin princess, born second, I have only one purpose―to sacrifice my life for my sister if death comes for her. I’ve been living under the guise of a poor, obscure girl of no standing, slipping into the palace and into the role of the true princess when danger is present. Now the queen is dead and the ageless King Eidolon has sent my sister a gift―an eerily familiar gift―and a proposal to wed. I don’t trust him, so I do what I was born to do and secretly take her place on the eve of the coronation.

Amazing story, amazing narration especially!
Revisado: 01-14-24
Amazing! Great and unique story, the Narrator especially is one of the best I've listened to so far!
Only thing is the battle with one scene seemed a bit rushed, like they acted way too normal after something so crazy, and just on to the next step. Sometimes the details id think is too much, but other than that I really did enjoy the book

Revisado: 01-02-24
Amazing book! Hot, good characters, the woman narrating amazing. Wasnt too impressed with the guy narrator, wish it was just the girl, his voice was and acting was annoying to listen to

Historia
Alicia Berenson’s life is seemingly perfect. A famous painter married to an in-demand fashion photographer, she lives in a grand house with big windows overlooking a park in one of London’s most desirable areas. One evening, her husband, Gabriel, returns home late from a fashion shoot, and Alicia shoots him five times in the face and then never speaks another word. Alicia’s refusal to talk, or give any kind of explanation, turns a domestic tragedy into something far grander, a mystery that captures the public imagination and casts Alicia into notoriety.

Historia
Everyone expected Violet Sorrengail to die during her first year at Basgiath War College-Violet included. But Threshing was only the first impossible test meant to weed out the weak-willed, the unworthy, and the unlucky. Now the real training begins, and Violet’s already wondering how she’ll get through. It’s not just that it’s grueling and maliciously brutal, or even that it’s designed to stretch the riders’ capacity for pain beyond endurance. It’s the new vice commandant, who’s made it his personal mission to teach Violet exactly how powerless she is–unless she betrays the man she loves.

New Narrator Please
Revisado: 12-22-23
Bit too much with the trust issues, I feel like Violet was making it a bigger deal/harder than it needed to be instead of being her strong straightforward character. Xayden's character I feel like flipped so fast with refusing to love her, to now she's literally his world. Still love the book, just felt like the love between them suddenly went fast, but the only conflict/drama that could be thought of was gaining trust.
Please new narrator, besides the sniffles, swallows, and noises from her mouth since she was sick, I cannot STAND the way she starts basically yelling into the microphone whenever a battle comes up, or the character screams. I have to turn it down and sometimes pause it because the loudness overwhelms my hearing and she does it the whole battle. not a fan of that..

Death walks alongside me. But the reaper is no match for me. I'm trapped in a world full of monsters dressed as men, and those who aren't as they seem. They won't keep me forever. I no longer recognize the person I've become. And I'm fighting to find my way back to the beast who hunts me in the night. They call me a diamond. But they've only created an angel of death.

Starting to wonder if it was written by a guy...
Revisado: 10-16-23
Yes she changes in this book, I liked it. But definitely not into them making eachother bleed and getting off on it, especially when Zade whipped her multiple times making her bleed, calling her a whore and now doing analllll.. Honestly started to sound very much like what guys prefer rather than women. Maybe it's just not my type of relationship (to each their own) but the first book was way better, it still crossed a lot of lines but this one was gross and went overboard tbh. Not reading the third if there ever is one knowing how its changed now.
And how they ended the antagonist was kinda lame, too easy honestly.

Historia
Twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail was supposed to enter the Scribe Quadrant, living a quiet life among books and history. Now, the commanding general—also known as her tough-as-talons mother—has ordered Violet to join the hundreds of candidates striving to become the elite of Navarre: dragon riders. But when you’re smaller than everyone else and your body is brittle, death is only a heartbeat away...because dragons don’t bond to “fragile” humans. They incinerate them.

SO SO GOOD!
Revisado: 09-18-23
Such a good book, I only have one smallest complaint, other than that, I couldn't stop listening to it!! Looking forward to the next one!
-Only complaint, I get her attraction to Zayden, but it can be toned down a bit when there's a serious situation going down or just plain bad timing, like girl calm down 😂 no one's gonna be thinking like that when something crazy is going on in the moment. Just felt like there was WAYYYY TOO MUCH of her drooling over him at some point. It was funny the first couple of times but then it just got annoying a bit. That's it! not much of a complaint at all cause it was honestly so good!!

Historia
Biz knows how to float. She has her people, her posse, her mom, and the twins. She has Grace. And she has her dad, who tells her about the little kid she was, and who shouldn't be here but is. So Biz doesn't tell anyone anything. Not about her dark, runaway thoughts, not about kissing Grace or noticing Jasper, the new boy. And she doesn't tell anyone about her dad. Because her dad died when she was seven. And Biz knows how to float, right there on the surface - normal, okay, regular, fine.

Good but Confusing
Revisado: 09-09-23
I did my best to follow along, trying to understand what was going on and I did for a majority but there was so much towards the end it got so so confused what was going on cause there was no describing but just thoughts, tons of random thoughts. I get its the point but I wish I also was able to have some understanding so it would hit deeper. Also the narrator was fine, but it was super annoying when she got SO LOUD I had to turn the volume down.

A warm blanket story
Revisado: 08-23-23
I thought this story was beautiful and eye opening to what people and kids can go through and feel when their life gets flipped upside down. Nothing will ever be the same, sometimes things feel like you will always be in a hole, and that's ok. There will still be moments of happiness and joy, yet you learn to live with the hole in your heart and carry it dearly.

Triple Falls wasn’t at all what it seemed, nor were the men that swept me under their wing. But in order to keep them, I had to be in on their secrets. Secrets that cost us everything to keep. That’s the novelty of fiction versus reality. You can’t re-live your own love story, because by the time you’ve realized you’re living it, it’s over. At least that was the case for me and the men I trusted my foolish heart to. Looking back, I’m convinced I willed my story into existence, due to my illness, and all were punished.

Book about justifying polyamory
Revisado: 08-18-23
To each their own, I'm not bashing but this book is literally meeting a guy, and his whole nation and basically what I'm discovering this book is about is going out of the norm and not being a "slave" to the "system" and society just to brainwash and gaslight this barley 19 year old it's ok for her and him to have open relationships with himself and his brother, so gross. She's trying to fight this battle of feelings for one brother because shes happy to be with the other and wants that, the brother she's with says "he wants that too" but also puts her down by saying she should have whoever she wants and not be in a committed relationship with him despite her wanting that.. just literally a book of convincing this girl it's ok to think outside the norm for his excuses to do what he wants and for her to do the same. So it's boring, gross, just a horny book.
