Temeraire and his Captain William Laurence well rounded characters that you grow to care deeply about. Laurence with his “uptight” high born British Royal Navy up bring contracting with the relaxed culture of Royal Aerial Corps sends him on a lift time of turbulent decision making with harsh outcomes.
This series needs to be read in order because each books drops off and the next starts with no setup or opening Novik assumes you read the previous books.

Where does I'm Dreaming of an Undead Christmas rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
The is book is an relaxing a “no brainer” book it is just entertainment no thinking required, but will still held my attention.
What was one of the most memorable moments of I'm Dreaming of an Undead Christmas?
The birthday party, were everyone was playing in the giant hamster ball. This something I could relate to, because my husband asked if the book came with the plans for the giant hamster ball so he could put me in one.
What about Amanda Ronconi’s performance did you like?
Ronconi has a pleasant voice and is easy to listen to. I feel se was appropriately casted as the main character/narrator
Any additional comments?
This book was an enjoyable read. As short as it is I care about the character and a looking for more in the series.
