Decent book but hard to get through because of performance/delivery. The story was literally 1/2 over before I could settle in.

Narrator (John McLain) sounds like SNL's Adam Samberg's impersonation of Nicholas Cage. Yes, funny because it's overwrought but also totally distracting for the length of an audiobook. Why should the listener have to work so hard? And why do publishing houses employ narration with oratorical peculiarities? In the audiobook realm, a narrator can make or break an otherwise good title.
Story itself was good. Unexpected side note: The story reveals some not-so-nice things about certain left-leaning California politicians, some of whom you'll know, choosing identity politics & party affiliation/career over public safety. Yikes. For shame.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. I'd highly recommend this audiobook because the combat stories are riveting and the lessons derived from them (and applied to the corporate world) are brilliant yet simple.

What about Jocko Willink and Leif Babin ’s performance did you like?

The clear and concise narration.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The USA is a state of affairs worth fighting for. Makes the heart swell that people like these soldiers are willing to lay down their lives for it, hardcore.

Any additional comments?

Jocko Willink and Leif Babin in 2020!
