Unforgettable

This story has touched my soul in a way that so rarely happens. It spoke to me in the language of the young man and the pure natural desires of his very being, the conflicts instilled in his inner thoughts and feeling by society, and ultimately the joy found though his honesty with himself juxtaposed with the resultant sorrow in the lack of total fulfillment.

Well written with humor and sensitivity. Very vanilla, but ethereal and creative with respect to the back story and morality which is so often forgotten in mm romance.

When paired with “Out of Africa” Blixen, these two books become perfect bookend to my personal recent experience in Kenya and Tanzania for safari. Both women were extremely talented, their lives entwined with experiences, and evidently with common lovers, associates, endeavors, barriers, and successes.
This book was remarkably written with class, sophistication and verbiage. Recommend it strongly.

True reveal of the inner requirements of greatness of character, knowledge, and love of country. Especially poignant when compared to Obama’s successor- the one bring the nation together- the other inadequate causing nothing but division based on lies. I am proud to be an American and Obama has reinforced/confirmed why.

Martin - They say that disasters bring people closer together and, in my experience, that's true. I just didn't expect for the guy who saved me from a wildfire to be the man of my dreams. I also didn't expect him to have a pair of terrifying dogs - stereotypical dogs! What kind of firefighter actually has dalmatians?! Still, maybe this is an opportunity. The pet shop isn't happy that I can't deal with the dogs. Maybe, with Lance's help, I can get past my fears. I don't know if I'm ready to open up that much, but it's just so easy to talk to him.

Lacking reality

Way too vanilla, reality took a big hit with Martin (one of the two make leads, without any mention of him being transgender) becomes pregnant from unprotected sex - the situation becoming the resultant climax of the story.
