A great book, I love John Corey’s humor.

The Scott Brick and Nelson DeMille interview at the end is very interesting as well. It adds background that was needed, at least for me. Thanks for another great book, it was a great diversion from real life.

Historia
You were on your way home when you died. It was a car accident. Nothing particularly remarkable, but fatal nonetheless. You left behind a wife and two children. It was a painless death. The EMTs tried their best to save you, but to no avail. Your body was so utterly shattered you were better off, trust me. And that’s when you met me." A short story about the universe.

A wonderful and very short story
Revisado: 01-06-17
This is only 8 minutes long, so it is an easy and quick listen. It made me be nicer to everyone I meet -- listen to it and you will understand.
This author is an interesting guy, loved The Martian, especially the accurate science of it. To realize he writes short things like this, that make you think, says a lot about him. Thank you Mr. Weir.

Historia
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.

A wonderful adventure
Revisado: 10-01-15
The story, the characters, the adventure and the performance for this book are all top notch. The odd, unexpected humor in places is a lot of fun too.
I highly recommend this book. I'm sure the book is better than the movie that comes out tomorrow. That is the only downside of this book, but it is worth it.

Historia
There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

Very Interesting and fun.

Good for science fiction buffs. Is our existence on earth as fragile as this book says? Probably not, but if it is, this book points it out.
Ray Porter does a great job performing it.

Historia
The folks in Mike Erikson's small New England town would say he's just your average, everyday guy. And that's exactly how Mike likes it. Sure, the life he's chosen isn't much of a challenge to someone with his unique gifts, but he's content with his quiet and peaceful existence. That is, until an old friend presents him with an irresistible mystery, one that Mike is uniquely qualified to solve.

Historia
Every woman lives by a code, whether she realizes it or not. It informs how she treats others and herself, how much she expects of herself, and how far she is willing to go in order to find success. But is the code we're living by truly helping us create the lives of purpose and fulfillment we desire? Or are we sacrificing the deeper things for mere achievement?

20 codes are too many to remember
Revisado: 08-06-15
I may be too simple minded, but remembering 20 things is very hard for most humans.
The part on the dangers of gossiping was very good. The other parts that cited the golden rule were strong as well.
I'm glad I read the book.
