if you like golf and I would imagine even if you don't, this book is incredibly interesting. it's hilarious at some points touching at others, sometimes sad and other times uplifting. I listen to and read a lot of books, but there is rarely a book I don't want to end. I didn't want this book to end.

Couldn't stand selfish narrator

I saw a gushing review for this story on Instagram. I noticed it was free and I've got a membership to Audible. I thought "hey I'll try this!" I was able to hang on to the story for approximately 21 minutes and 54 seconds. The narrator was just so self-centered and felt sorry for herself; I just couldn't take anymore. Is this the way our world's become that we can relate to characters like this? I hope not but I fear yes.

Fun and exciting.

This book had multiple story lines that all came together and was extremely fun. narrator was good but not over the top. And it was the perfect length

Better than I ever imagined

Despite being an extremely long book, it moved very quickly. The author's descriptions of deep in depth situations combined nicely with light and fun moments that occurred on the campaign trail, within his family and in the White House.

It is also impressive that there doesn't appear to be a ghost writer on this book. It was completely written by President Obama and he is an excellent writer.

Great story very well performed but I subtracted two stars because it was so sad from beginning to end. Anybody looking to be uplifted or for something light this is not for you.

Ridiculous, silly and just not funny.

I really tried I hung in there the entire time. I just didn't like it; at times it was so silly I felt myself getting angry. I'm a member and don't feel the need for audible to give me free podcast shows like this. Happy just getting quality books written by famous authors.

Awesome no other words. John Feinstein is great.

John Feinstein writes a great book and performs a great audiobook. The topic left me not wanting to leave my car to listen to more of the book. I must have gotten this one done faster than any other audio book I've ever read. Thank you so much for this opportunity. I can't wait for the next Feinstein book.

The book was okay. But it came out right before the CEO was fired so we missed that whole story. And the performance was by the author which was a little shaky.

candidate is a good guy book is mediocre

the author is obviously a great person and would have made a great president. Wish I'd had read this book before he ran for president. However the book is a little slow at times.
