Historia
In a night of devastating terror, ISIS operatives have unleashed a coordinated attack on America's infrastructure. With thousands of trapped travelers and scarce law enforcement, the miles between Jim Powell and his family become a brutal gauntlet where the rules of civilized society no longer apply. As Jim puts his years of preparation and planning to the test, he is forced to ask himself if he has what it takes to make it home. Does he have the strength - the brutality - required to meet this new world toe-to-toe?

I had tried this book before but audible system doesn’t show that and it was just as bad as the first time I tried it.

Narration Improved From First Book
Revisado: 12-24-20
The narration did improve from the first book and there few voices that took me out of the story. The story didn't improve though it just seems ito continues to be a jumbled-up mess that moves from, one mess to another.

Way To Convoluted
Revisado: 12-23-20
The narrator is one of the best and did a great job trying to make this a good story, he failed. It's just way too convoluted where everything turns into nothing or something else. I got bored waiting to see what was going to be real. Quit and sent it back.

Historia
It's 24 on Mars: a non-stop futuristic thrill-ride, all in one day, through the critical events which were the breaking point for the underclass of Martian citizens and precipitated a revolution to break the Martian colonists free from the formidable Sol System government. The formerly red planet would never be the same would the human race.

Should be two Stars
Revisado: 12-23-20
This book really deserves two stars but I'm giving it 3 for effort and so I don't have to send it back. This narrator kept doing stupid character voices that constantly took you out of the story and instead had you were thinking well that sounds stupid. I love action but that's all this book was and you could easily get confused about which piece of the battle was going on. Things that make no sense like personal AI's that are smarter than the people using them but people are trained to make the decisions and not rely on the AI. An enemy that repeatedly commits genocide for no apparent reason. So why give it three stars, I thought it had lots of potential and could be very good if some of the problems were corrected. I can see myself trying another one to see if that happened. If the next one is no better though I would send it back.

Just No
Revisado: 12-21-20
Three hours after a power outage we have the arsenal out and are patrolling the yard with our rifles. But that's good because three hours into a power outage people are attempting to raid their house. This is a great narrator and I'm sorry he is wasted on this book.

Historia
In the stripped-down, unsullied patois of an ordinary soldier, draftee Philip Dosier tells his story of the war. Straight from high school, too young to vote or buy himself a drink, he enters a world of mud and heat, blood and body counts, ambushes and firefights. It is here that he embarks on the brutal downward path to wisdom that awaits every soldier.

Pass Unless Your Looking For Documentary
Revisado: 12-21-20
I was looking for a fiction book about the war, what this is is a documentary with all the smallest minutia about life for this soldier in Vietnam. Add to that a narrator who shouldn't attempt to do voices. It's like he is constantly trying to through in John Wayne. I quit at the three-hour mark and sent it back.

Historia
There is a personal price to pay for having aligned with the wrong side in a reckless war. For Aden Jansen it's the need to adopt a new identity while keeping his past hidden. Now he's integrated himself aboard the Zephyr, a merchant ship smuggling critical goods through dangerous space. But danger is imminent on planet Gretia, as well. Under occupation, torn between postwar reformers and loyalists, it's a polestar for civil unrest.

Very Good
Revisado: 12-20-20
It was still very good but not as good as the first. Story seemed shorter and they got rid of a great narrator for an ok one. I will be reading the next one.

Good Book with Great Narration
Revisado: 12-18-20
Luke Daniels is one of my favorite narrators, almost as good as RC Bray. He did a great job. I found the story to be completely entertaining and look forward to reading the next one.

Historia
"The Suck" - the virus that claimed 97 percent of humanity - is gone. The arrival of other survivors with a different take on the future may be as dangerous as the virus itself. In the middle, with their hands on the scales, is a group of former soldiers and civilians who survived the virus in Antarctica. They’ve arrived to find a dead world, with no rules. The best-selling story of Jason, Pro, and Rachel continues where End of Summer, book one of the Seasons of Man series, left off.

Revisado: 12-17-20
This is a well written book of the genre and I would recommend the book to anyone who is new to the genre. I have read hundreds and even though well written theirs nothing new here. This will be my last but looking forward to something different from the writer and narrator.

Disappointing
Revisado: 12-14-20
I don't usually read this writer's genre, so thought I would try this since it sounded like something I would enjoy. I found it nothing but confusing. My sister, I will sell out for yelling at the bar, but a fellow officer with numerous phobias I will cover far when it may mean crimes may go unsolved. Lots of information that just seems to mean nothing. The narrator sounds like everything is the end of the world, Rats I am out of gloves sounds like we're going off a cliff.
