Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I have already recommend this week to some of my friends, the story of Alan Cumming,
starts with the horror of a violent childhood, but ends with the triumph of survival and looks forward to a fulfilled future.

What did you like best about this story?

I enjoyed this books from start to end, but as I had watched "who do you think you are", it gave me a much deeper understanding.

What does Alan Cumming bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His voice, his passion and the experience of having lived through the abuse.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

A story of survival against physical and mental abuse.

probably one of the best books I have heard.

What disappointed you about Fixed on You?

These series tries to follow,50 shades and crossfire,but sadly misses it's mark. It's too predictable,the listener knows what will happen before it did.I found myself tuning out, without bothering to go back.I did not listen to any of the other books.

What was most disappointing about Laurelin Paige’s story?

It promised so much but delivered so little!

How could the performance have been better?

The narrator,read Hudson's part using a female voice, which at times, confused me as I couldn't follow who said what.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Not for me.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

the book drags out so much, that even by skipping parts of the book, I was able to follow the story..
Way too many characters, at times, I didn't know who was who.
The narrator sounded like she was reading to a kindergarten class, her tone of voice
drove me mad.

What could Nora Roberts have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Edit it by 50%….

Would you be willing to try another one of Renee Raudman’s performances?

Only if she was reading a book for toddlers.

What would have made this romance irresistible?

Where was the romance part of it?

Has Falling Into Us turned you off from other books in this genre?

No, I will still listen to more books in the genre, I just did not enjoy this, but I'm not sure if I will choose any other book by this writer.

What does Gabriel Vaughan and Piper Goodeve bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The narrators are excellent, they make a boring story a little more bearable.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Yes, it helped me to go to sleep at night!

The book was too drawn out, I felt as if the writer used as many words as possible to fill the pages.

What made the experience of listening to The Casual Vacancy the most enjoyable?

I didn't know what to expect by this book, as I associate J.K.Rowling with Harry Potter, butI thoroughly enjoyed... The only "negative" about it, is that there are so many charaters in the story that at the beginning it takes few chapters to recall who is who and who is related to whom, but as soon as the characters are in place the story falls into place.Tom Hollander brought each person in this book alive just as I would imagine them to be.

What disappointed you about Effortless?

I listened to the first 4 hours of this book, what a bore!!! There is no storyline, 4 hours of listening to: I got up in the morning, I went to uni, I was scared and my rockstar boyfriend is hot, is enough to put anyone in a coma... But I kept going thinking that sooner or later something will happen, but after 4 hours I decided that that was 4 hours of my life that I will never get back!!

What could S. C. Stephens have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

A storyline!!

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Rebekkah Ross?

What character would you cut from Effortless?

As there are only two major characters, I would say both.

I will also delete Thoughless, the first instalment of this series..

It was fairly predictable, but enjoyed it never the less.

I have no idea who possibly enjoy this book, boring, flat, the characters sound as if they are on tranquilizers...

Has Vanity, Vengeance and a Weekend In Vegas turned you off from other books in this genre?

No....

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Her voice was so flat!!! It sounded so monotone

All of them!

For the first time I did not finish a book, I couldn't stand it any longer!
