It took me a minute to understand what a dispatcher is; but once I got that it was really entertaining. The narrator’s performance was amazing. The way he changes from one character to another was flawless and seemingly effortless.

Though difficult to hear clearly at times, this was an amazing account of bringing an arrogant grifter to justice. This would make an excellent book and/or movie.

A glimpse of the world of wealth and privilege and the cheating and lying that goes on there.

James Taylor is candid about himself and his family during his first 21 years. He explains how the events that happened during that time are related to the songs we all love. It is beautifully written and performed by James.

My 2 favorite books by John Grisham are A Time To Kill and The Pelican Brief. I have to say this book is coming in right alongside those two. It is a tragic tale interspersed with young love, dry humor, fierce family loyalty, and brutal military combat details. The performance was on of the best I've heard.

I loved the message, the intelligence, and the compassion. I just I wish he would have read it a little slower.

On to Book 7 to see how it all plays out. Still think Oliver Platt and Emma Thompson would be perfectly cast if they ever make a movie.

The adventures of Jefferson Tayte and Professor Jean Summer would make a great movie and spark more interest in genealogy. I’d cast Oliver Platt and Emma Thompson as the leads. Oliver has some interesting ancestry of his own.

I really enjoyed listening to this book. I learned that James Clapper has devoted over 50 years of his life to the service of our country. I’ve seen him many times on television, but had no idea about his distinguished military career or his involvement in important national and world events as the Director of National Intelligence. His writing is humble and self-deprecating. He shares some of his most embarrassing moments, his regrets, and the tenderness he feels for Sue, his wife, his children, and grandchildren. He sets the record straight on many news cycles and shares his fears on the erosion of values and freedoms we hold dear as Americans. It’s a good read.

I’m really enjoying Steve Robinson’s books. I’ve been doing genealogy for 10 years and I can understand the records and documents he talks about.
