Historia
Trained to fight, lead, and sail the ocean that is space, Nel Vaughn has the makings of a hero. She should have been the best, but Nel forsook a career with the Alliance and now sails the Free Lanes on the Tantamount with its misfit crew, Kitsune cabin girl, and absent-minded captain.

World was interesting, but characters were not and voices were worse. I should have just stopped and listened to something else.

Great mystery drawn out a bit too long
Revisado: 08-22-17
A little too much repetition of evidence and theories in the last 4th, but otherwise very well done and keeps you guessing.

Fascinating discussion, dense with examples
Revisado: 12-06-16
Any additional comments?
A wonderful history of SF from its origins to current trends and beyond. This course uses innumerable examples of stories and authors while exploring the trajectory of SF including the changes and sub-categories in the genre.
The information was interesting and clearly presented. And the many supporting examples have substantially increased my library and audible wishlists.

Historia
A graceful, inspired memoir about building a home from scratch and discovering a true sense of self - in just eighty-four square feet - by Dee Williams, a pioneer in sustainable living and the proud owner of a very tiny house. Discovering the sustainability movement and building her own house was just the beginning of building a new life. Williams can now list everything she owns on one sheet of paper, her monthly bills amount to about eight dollars, and it takes her ten minutes to clean the entire house.

Memior is the operative word
Revisado: 08-28-16
What did you like best about The Big Tiny? What did you like least?
I would have preferred less memoir and more tiny house information. The author's story was interesting but the book included precious little about actually building and owning a tiny house.

Fun short story, great narration
Revisado: 04-08-15
What made the experience of listening to Tokyo Raider the most enjoyable?
The excellent narration by Bronson Pinchot.
Which character – as performed by Bronson Pinchot – was your favorite?
I didn't have a favorite character with this short story, but Mr Pinchot's performance for each was excellent. His character voices are distinct and well done.
Any additional comments?
I enjoyed the story and I am now interested in the series written by Mr. Correia. The narration was truly impressive with great voices, pronunciation, and inflection.

Historia
Emperor Mollusk. Intergalactic Menace. Destroyer of Worlds. Conqueror of Other Worlds. Mad Genius. Ex-Warlord of Earth. Not bad for a guy without a spine. But what's a villain to do after he's done... everything. With no new ambitions, he's happy to pitch in and solve the energy crisis or repel aliens invaders should the need arise, but if he had his way, he'd prefer to be left alone to explore the boundaries of dangerous science. Just as a hobby, of course. Retirement isn't easy though.

Fun adventure in great, pulp scifi world
Revisado: 03-19-15
Which character – as performed by Scott Aiello – was your favorite?
Emperor Mollusk. Mr Aiello's voice suited him very well.
Any additional comments?
The story was an enjoyable adventure mystery. The characters were interesting, odd, and fun. The world (our solar system) was a wonderfully retro pulp scifi with races for every planet (and some moons). And the narrator was one of the best I've heard and fit the book very well. I really want more adventures in this universe!

Historia
We colonized 700 planets. Humankind enjoyed the benefits of expansion room and the end of wars. We even disbanded our military. Then the Krall found us. The Krall have used thousands of years of combat to select the genes of the strongest and fastest warriors. They are a species determined to dominate the entire galaxy, through destruction and annihilation of every opponent.
Koban is an uninhabited high-gravity planet with impossibly fast savage animals, which employ organic superconducting nerves. This deadly world is where the Krall tested humans for war capability.

Great ideas, narrator and writer both need improve
Revisado: 03-05-15
Any additional comments?
The story ideas were very interesting and I look forward to listening to the next book in the series. The narration was not great, with the narrator regularly mispronouncing some words and other quirks that detracted from the experience. But I don't believe all of the trouble can be blamed on the performance. The writing is not especially good (Mr Bennett's first published story), and I think the narration emphasized this. Still, neither the writing nor the narration were terrible (I listened to the redone version) and I enjoyed the story very much.
