Yes, I think it is a great addition to the Sookie stories and wraps some things up nicely.

Just the other books in the series, I think over all they are great.
What does Johanna Parker bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She gives a voice and life and gives the characters a great personality.

Great Addition to the Series

Where does A Touch of Dead rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I have listened to the other 9 Sookie Stackhouse books and I really like that this one fills in some of the gaps in the story. It really fits in well.
What did you like best about this story?
I like that we get to learn about the in between stories.
Have you listened to any of Johanna Parker’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have listened to all the Sookie Stackhouse books narrated by Johanna Parker, but no other series. Within this series I think that Johanna is the perfect voice for the series. Not only does she sound like I imagined Sookie would but from a practical standpoint she is easy to understand, and her use of multiple voices make's it easy to keep who it currently talking very clear in my head.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Since it is a collection of short stories I just wanted to listen to one story per sitting. But when I had time I listened to multiple ones.
