what's going on in the world today in 2025 this is too political and too violent for me to really enjoy. Plus the impossible struggles just keep coming and I'm getting depressed. maybe another time...

Great story good ending

Can't ask for much more. this was a simpler read than the bobiverse but very enjoyable. I would recommend.

Enough punishment

while I liked the characters well enough to keep going with this series this book wore me out. Way too much sex and violence and torture and struggle and it's so depressing. I'm sure there's a happy ending somewhere but I stopped at chapter 14.

Yes there's a lot of graphic sex.

a lot of teenage lust interrupts a really good story. I like the characters; but had to do a lot of fast forwarding to get past the gratuitous stuff. just don't have the hormones for this anymore. but I will soldier on because I want to find out what happens. Good enough to want to hear the next book.

The never ending, ending...

While I very much appreciate long books this was over the top. I was on chapter 110 and thinking about stopping. If you think the Lord of the Rings trilogy was long and painful this beats all that to a pulp. Still I wanted to find out what happened to everybody so I stuck it out. The really strange thing was by the end 'The Queen of Terrison' was my least favorite character. I think the author tried to make her seem clever & brave, while I found her selfish, self-centered, stubborn and not deserving of all the praise she received from others. I lost all empathy for her halfway through the book when she lied once again to her friends and supporters. she's a character that constantly betrays others. I can't see that as a redeeming quality.

again the storie is a little drawn out but since I like to listen to a book every night before I sleep the long hours of this story are still welcome.

I had a hard time with the combination autobiography and UAP coverup exposé combo. there were times where I was losing track of what period of time it was in his life and I didn't feel the story flow to smoothly as it could have.

Little too much sex for me....

I wish authors would express the passion a little less physical detail. otherwise the story was good although the main character was a bit pitiful and sometimes annoyingly so. still I like the story and I made it to the end.

I know this is translated but an English speaking editor should have noticed in chapter 4 "had became" as opposed to the correct grammar "had become." I took one star off for the performance as a result. otherwise I love this story.
