The vocabulary focuses on words everyone knows or can readily figure out

The stories are for a very, very young audience. The reader reads nicely but very, very slowly. The help at the end of the stories provides the worst possible selection of vocabulary words so that you have to look a lot up on your own while being told that el hotel means the hotel.
