I just had to finish it!
Revisado: 08-14-13
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes! I found it really exciting and touching as there were parts which brought tears to my eyes. The author is really the ideal person to read it as he knows the settings and emotions of the characters.
What other book might you compare Illusion to and why?
I suppose I would have to compare it to Fatherless by Dr James Dobson as that was the only other fictional Audible book in my library. Both are real enough for me experience the issues and struggles as well as make me wonder what I would do if I were in their shoes. I believe I have read all of the author's books such ast This Present Darkness, Piercing the Darkness, The Oath, etc.
Which scene was your favorite?
My favorite scene was when Dan discovered Mandy in his room wearing his wife's dress.

Would you listen to Unstuff Your Life again? Why?
Yes, but only the first half because it become repetitive (mundane? detailed?) towards the end.
Would you recommend Unstuff Your Life to your friends? Why or why not?
Yes, because the 2 simple basic principles just works: like with like and one home for everything!
Have you listened to any of Andrew J. Mellen’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No.
What did you learn from Unstuff Your Life that you would use in your daily life?
"Like with like" and "one home for everything".

Historia
The year is 2042, and a long-predicted tipping point has arrived. For the first time in human history, the economic pyramid has flipped: The feeble old now outnumber the vigorous young, and this untenable situation is intensifying a battle between competing cultural agendas. Reporter Julia Davidson - a formerly award-winning journalist seeking to revive a flagging career - is investigating the growing crisis, unaware that her activity makes her a pawn in an ominous conspiracy. Plagued by nightmares about her absent father, Julia finds herself drawn to the quiet strength of a man she meets at a friend's church.

Well written & narrated!

If you could sum up Fatherless in three words, what would they be?
It's my first real audiobook and it really helps kill the monotony when I drive to work and back in the slow traffic. The different voices for different characters were helpful.
Which character – as performed by Bernard Setaro Clark – was your favorite?
I like Kevin Tolbert's presentation of the facts and his proposals (chapter 16) which was simple to follow and realistic enough to believe.
