Love the narrator and the characters. The ending was not expected at all so it was a surprise. Loved it!!

Passion and Courage yes! But also coward actions.

I liked the passion for inclusion for EVERYONE especially for people that are physically and mentally challenged. I love that. I find there were times Fred III was courageous and times when he wasn’t. Courageous for speaking his truth when he spoke to John McCain, Elijah Cummings, emailing the fallen police officer’s family and taking care of his beautiful family. I liked how he spoke of his challenges, if only briefly, (drinking too much and now sober). When he didn’t support his sister when she wrote her book and sent communication to his Trump family that he had nothing to do with it was a little disappointing. When he allowed DJT to get away with saying he should let his son die and before that, saying the same about other peoples’ children dying, I think he should have really pushed back harder instead of just walking out of the room or saying “No Donald….. “ that really stuck with me. I found it to be a little cowardly.

Otherwise the book was good and informative I guess.

I loved that multiple voice actors read the book. Very good short stories which were sometimes frightening.

I had to listen repeatedly to get the gist of what was going on. The narrator’s voice was a bit robotic. Overall, I finished it because I paid for it.

One the best books I’ve ever listened to

I loved that Ms. Angelou read her own book. Her life was captivating and I did not want the book to end. When it ended I was surprised. Great book!

The Lies Perpetrated by the Network just for ratings!

I like that the author read the book. The passion in his voice was worth listening to the book. I have read many books and still can’t understand how people can be so easily led to believe lies and ridiculousness. The book has the appropriate title and I enjoyed reading it and I learned a lot. It is fascinating, sad and scary all at the same time.

Good Information

The information provided was good. However, I was hoping for a website or a support group for these “sugar haters” as he mentioned in the book. I would like to become a sugar hater. I liked that he provided alternative foods. I also liked how he explained that going cold turkey is not a good idea. Some people (including myself) are always looking for that “magic bullet” and not comprehending that to beat any addiction or negative behavior, requires hard work from ourselves.
