I enjoyed all the characters. Everyone had their own personalities. The way the H and Hr were great. I got a lot of chuckles from the book. I’d definitely read again. Now I’m going to read the rest of the series.

2nd Book even better!

I need the third book now. I enjoyed the story and the growth for each character. There were some twists that were obvious but in a good way as the author planted the seeds so that when I listened again I could see the overall picture. Definitely recommend both books. I just wish I discovered after the fifth book was completed. Now it’s a waiting game.

Great Surprise

I purchased this during a 2 for 1 credit sale. I took a chance and it paid off. It was a slow start and I was afraid I may have wasted the sale but I was wrong. I enjoyed the characters. Well most anyway due to their choices. The writing was good and I couldn’t stop listening. There were a couple of twists some I saw coming and others I didn’t. I see the 2nd book is available. Definitely, will be listening to it. I love the narrator.

Cute Story

I read the last book in the series first not realizing it. So once I started listening I recognized character names so I was spoiled. However, that didn’t stop me from loving this book. I enjoyed the banter between Marcelline and Clevedon. They always kept the other on their toes. The angst, the longing and the heat was top notch. I would definitely read again and recommend.

It’s a cute story. I thought H and Hr had great chemistry. The love scenes were hot. This is my first Sophie Jordan book. I’ll definitely read more of her stories.

Surprisingly I enjoyed this

I wasn’t sure that I wanted to finish this series because the first book felt so draining. I felt like I was put through the ringer following Mouse’s story. I told myself after the first book I would stop but I couldn’t get Mouse out of my head. So I listened to the next book and when that concluded. I was eager for the Book of the Just. Wow what a ride I went through a gamut of emotions. It stuck the landing. I definitely recommend reading this series.

Cute Story

I loved this story. The banter between Oliver and Clara was so entertaining. I couldn’t get enough of it. I won’t spoil but I thought the use of the “court scene” with the parents was clever and so Oliver. I’ll definitely reread in the future.

Great End to an Amazing Series!

I listened to the trilogy consecutively and it’s such an amazing ride. I enjoyed getting to know the characters and watch them fall, rise and grow. Max and Tisaanah such a richly developed relationship. I’ll never get over it. Highly recommend this series!

Such a Great Story

I wanted to find a story that had magic in it as a backdrop and wow did I find it! I have no background info on the author but she knocked it out of the park and I will be moving forward to the following books.

I loved how detailed the use of magic and how descriptive it makes the characters feel. My heart raced, I was excited and anxious. I felt like I was there with the characters.

Tisaanah and Max such rich and fleshed out characters. Loved each moment that built upon that relationship. The supporting characters are great too. I hope to learn more about them in the following books.

I highly recommend this book. I wasn’t sure if I’d like it but so glad I took the chance.

When the male narrator jumped in it was a little jarring because but he was okay once I got used to him.

Really enjoyed this story and performance

I enjoyed this story the most out of the series. The mystery was intriguing and I liked how some of the threads regarding the murder case came together. The relationship between the two mains was hot and so tender. I would love to have seen more of their adventures solving cases. I enjoyed seeing the characters from the previous stories. I would definitely recommend this for the story and performance.
