Best Book I've Ever Read (Listened to) on Clutter

Too Much Saliva!

I really, really liked this book. I just do not think Brooks Palmer should have read the book. Although he has a pleasant voice, it is a bit like vocal valium. But, that's not the worst of it. The person in charge of the recording should be flogged. You can hear every saliva "snap," dry-mouthed swallow, and borborygmi galore.
Several times during the recording, I found myself yelling, "Swallow, already! Swallow!" as it was apparent that he had a mouthful of mucus. I can assure all those who read this book that top-of-the-line recording equipment was used...to the reader's detriment and my disgust.
Content-wise, it has great insights and is very useful. I am getting the book so I can read it. I just CANNOT listen to it anymore.

Heck no! I already lived this once, I don't need to revisit my childhood on film.

Wow. The Mom needed to seriously chill and get her own hobby. There's disciplining your child and pushing them to do their best, but this Mother needed to get a grip. She could have approached motherhood with a little more balance.

I have absolutely no idea. This book left me shocked and speechless. I still don't know what to make of this book.

Wow. I was underwhelmed. I don't mind escapist fiction, but the storyline was ridiculous and hard to buy into. The main character was an idiot, his wife an unconvincing sociopath, and the characters, in general, were one-dimensional. I really, really wanted to like this book.
