Very enjoyable read, but

As you can see, there's a but. I really enjoyed the entire series, but the book ended on a cliffhanger. I hated movies and books like that when I was a child, and nothing has changed my mind since, Especially when I have to wait years for the conclusion. I understand the constraints and circumstances that happened during this series, but if you're going to have a cliffhanger, have the next adventure started. 2013 is quite a while, especially as other books have been published. Please complete the series with book #6

pleasant surprise

Total 180° of first book. I wouldn't have known it was the same author. I was engaged throughout . I was thrown through as 1st chapter did not segue from the cliff hanger seamlessly from the last book, but got there just the same. The characters and the story was much more developed and now I'm more interested in following the series.

This book is basically
soft porn. The first 6 chapters was one long sex scene after another. Chapter 7 started giving a plot, 8-18 more sex, a couple more chapters of plot , then more sex and finally predictable drama and more sex. Last chapter a cliff hanger to encourage you to buy the next book.

This is an alright book for a fairy tale. It's a mix match of implausible situations to further the plot alone. The Italian accent was slightly irritating and the music before each chapter made me skip forward 10sec . Maybe I'm the wrong audience because besides the sex scene it would have been better off in Harlequin romance rather than Harlequin Presents

jarring renaming of characters

Enjoyed the story but had to struggle to remember who some of the characters were as narrator changed the pronunciations of most of their names. The frequency pronouncing of Sigimor as Sycamore for example, I would only just realized who she was talking about most times when she spoke of the spouse of the characters, like Jolene. I enjoy books that create a continuing world of stories 3-20 books whatever, but sometimes when a new narrator takes over, they can really diminish the tale.
