As an adult I can appreciate this soon on a classic. Sex, drugs, murder, revenge, love and lessons. it has everything to play with your emotions. I really enjoyed this dark twist.

It hurts so good!

I decided to listen for two reasons: one Troy's sultry voice and two because I've seen this book pop up after a few of my recent reads. I am so glad I gave it a listen. This is now one of my favorite book couples. They made me cringe, shout, gasp, scream and smile. Their love story is unique but the this thriller is what kept me going. Great storyline, great character development, and a great ending that I didn't want to hear coming.

What is love?

Since the beginning of the story I knew she was special. The Cinderella story line bothered me because it is so predictable but it definitely tool a turn once the main character was married. I so love this world and the new characters. I do wish the books intertwine so I can enjoy the old with the new. I loved both main characters and their love story.

A Little Rushed

I love the Avynwood pack and they are why I keep reading. I like getting up dates on all my favorites while getting to know the others.
Braydon finally has a love of his own. He has been on the outside looking in for many years. Now not only is he connected through his bond but family ties as well. I'm so glad Kandra gets to know what love is and what a real pack is like.
Overall, decent read. I still have questions and would have liked to know more about Connor and his pack history.

Making Deals with the Devil

Honestly the book was good. No complaints about the writing but yet I am still not satisfied. One meeting with the so called Gods and a few revelations but nothing exciting. Haedes reminds of the character Haedes from Xena Warrior Princess the show. He always wanted what he should not have and always took at the cost to others. He demands everyone to play by his rules and yet follow none of them himself. My hope is that Max finds his true strength and show his uncle no mercy.

This Went On and On and On

I struggled with this book in the series. All the other were quick reads and I was excited to move forward. After this one, it may be my last. I tried hard to believe the main character and all her aliases would final get it right. I just knew she was finally going to grow up and prove everyone wrong. NOPE! Keep reading because it does nor happen in this book. In the end she makes the ultimate sacrifice but all the in between made me want to bang my head against a wall. A woman with her power should not be so weak.

This story is a reminder to everyone everywhere that no matter your circumstances or background, you too can leave a piece of your story.
What an amazing story about family, heritege, perseverance, love, and more. This book took the reader many places and introduced so many amazing characters.
The beginning was very slow, but the pace picked up and did not stop. This is a great summer read.
