Historia
When you discover the world is a computer program, and you figure out that by altering the code you can time travel and perform acts that seem like magic, what can possibly go wrong? Pretty much everything. Just ask Brit, who has jumped around in time with such abandon that she has to coexist with multiple versions of herself. Now, Brit the Elder finds that her memories don't match Brit the Younger's.

Killing Love: Spite 2.0
Revisado: 11-10-18
The author used to love these characters, and he wrote them in a way that made us love them, too. This book, however, is about plot: not characters, not authenticity. We who adored the previous books should be warned that our friends lose complexity and capacity to grow, excepting those who grow suddenly shallow and petty. Even the narrator can't avoid making the women sound flat, bored, or shrewish. Meyer hobbled the lone positive development with an unsupported wholesale change of temperament. He pulls that final rug out from under our feet in the postlude by revealing that this, too, is more posturing for book six. This book is a prologue, not a tale. I'm sorry, Mr. Meyer-- this series deserves a more honorable death.

Historia
Tornadoes, cyclones, tsunamis… Weather can be deadly – especially when it strikes without warning. Millions of Americans could soon find themselves at the mercy of violent weather if the public data behind lifesaving storm alerts gets privatized for personal gain. In his first Audible Original feature, New York Times best-selling author and journalist Michael Lewis delivers hard-hitting research on not-so-random weather data – and how Washington plans to release it.

Real Winds of Change
Revisado: 09-11-18
The only comparable Audible work I can think of to match the depth and importance of Michael Lewis's "The Coming Storm" is the BBC's production of Robert Lewis's "Fatherland." Right to the last line - which overwhelmed this grown man - this treatise demonstrates an obvious and humbling concern for the inhabitants of our nation. Our country's perennial protection of those who live here should not be stifled by the opportunity for private monetary gain.

To find a way to rate this album, I first had to develop a new idea of how funny reality can be. Robert's obviously deep concern for the topics at hand is clear to the listener and forms the backbone of an illuminating, "oh my god you got me there" comedy routine. Buy it to laugh, listen again to learn.

Not Patrick O'Brian... in a very good way. All of the naval action and concise rigors, condensed and crafted into a readable, enjoyable tale. A bit too "all's well" in the denouement... no lingering loose ends to keep one's excitement high for the next installment, yet such thoroughly enjoyable characters as to at least ensure interest. Well-read, good production.

Historia
Now, for the first time in audio, Blackstone presents seven great plays in one volume: Euripides' Medea, Shakespeare's The Tempest, Moliere's The Imaginary Invalid, Dumas' Camille, Ibsen's An Enemy of the People, Shaw's Arms and the Man, and Chekhov's Uncle Vanya. These productions illustrate the development of European drama from ancient times to the threshold of the modern theater.

Drama queen!

Great slice of drama, presented chronologically and in well-executed dramatizations. F. Murray Abraham is not to be missed.
