Enjoyable Cozy Mystery with a paranormal twist

A fun easy cozy mystery that I found enjoyable to listen to while doing housework or yard work. The characters are entertaining, I love Flapjack, and imagine my cats would probably be just as sassy as talking ghosts.

What is better than reading about our favorite badass True Immoral/Princess of the North American Domain of Vampires, in Prada? Having it come alive in this audio book! I love how Jessica brings Robin’s characters to life. I have read all of the books in the Hot Damned Series and listen to each one as they become available. (Maybe more than twice)
Astrid is trying to to have a Target Shopping Spree Day. A group of mythical vamps are trying to rule the world thus ruining Astrid’s plans, oh and putting her mate in danger. Definitely a bad move. Definitely bad when it leads Astrid to ASKING Jane and Martha to Sing!!!
I so enjoyed listening to Jessica bring this book to life. The nuances she brings to each character were delightful! I laughed and was totally absorbed in the telling of the tale that it was like I had just heard it for the 1st time, even though I had read the book.
Definitely recommend. Robin’s story is awesome and Jessica’s performance outstanding!!!

Absolutely love it!

I love this series! I’ve read all the books in it at least twice! So I was thrilled when the audiobook was released! I was not disappointed. The narrators did an outstanding job! I was in stitches over the different voices for each character. Wonderfully done! I always love when the devil shows up and absolutely love the newest characters in introduced into Anastasia and Levi’s story. Well done!

Something peculiar is happening in Peculiar

Willie is sent to Peculiar on an investigation. Unfortunately she is sent to investigate a person she considers a friend. During her investigation someone commits murder. Now she is tasked with finding the murderer and unraveling a crime while hopefully not unraveling her friend’s life and destroying several other. Or losing the man she is possibly falling in love with.

I really enjoyed listening to this book. The narrator, Autumn Brandt, did a fabulous job and made listening a joy. I laughed at many places throughout the story and was pleasantly surprised that I hadn’t figured out the mystery right away.
I highly recommend!

Astrid is back!

I absolutely love the Hot Damned Series! I’ve read and re-read the books several times and listened to the entire series as well. I was so excited when Fashionably Dead and Loving It was released on Audible!
The narrator, Jessica Almasy once again did a fantastic job of bringing the story to life!
With things being calm for now, Astrid is preparing to meet Ethans brother and sister. A royal reception is planned. What could possibly go wrong in a house full of violent vampires?
The baby demons are delightful as always and Martha and Jane never disappoint! Don’t miss out on this gem! I laughed and giggled through out the entire book. The books keep getting better each time! So take a break from RL and join Astrid, Ethan, Jane,Martha and a couple of new and zany characters, for a Fabulous time!!

Expect strange looks if you listen while driving!

Willow, Zelda and the gang are back. I started listening to this hilarious tale while driving. Judging from the looks I got from other drivers, I’m pretty sure they thought I was an escapee from a lunatic asylum, As I drove about laughing.
Stephanie Reggio does a fabulous job narrating.
I highly recommend Your Broom or Mine, especially you enjoy awful puns and absolutely insanely funny situations. Do not miss out on a truly good laugh and listen to Willow’s return to “reality”

A holly jolly good time!

I absolutely loved this! I laughed so hard at Poseidon and his attempts to make the perfect Christmas starting with Black Friday Shopping with his sons Del and Pirate Doug along with a carefully chosen motley crew. Warning be careful if you try to drink anything while listening to this randy tale, it may just end up coming out of your nose! It definitely made doing housework a lot more fun! David Brenin was outstanding in his performance, once again!

A fun and enjoyable escape!

Petunia’s life derailed when her parents were killed a hundred years ago then again when her true love didn’t show up for their mating ceremony 25 years ago. But life goes on. She has found her family, possibly a forever home. Found a randy, VERY limber, pirate as her new BFF, a healthy fear of bean salad and maybe, just maybe a little bit of happiness...
I laughed through pretty much the whole book. Before I knew it my housework was done and so was the book. I highly recommend this book and series if you are looking for a good laugh and a bit of Shenanigans!

Nope, couldn’t handle it

I absolutely love this series and have purchased each e-book as soon as it was up for pre-order. As I anxiously await for the next book to be released, I decided to listen to the series from the beginning. I have enjoyed all the previous audiobooks in this series. This one, nope, I just couldn’t handle the narrator. I spent more time trying to figure out if Venus had a cold than actually engaged in the story. Audrey Lusk just was not the person for this book. Venus is a sexy, bad ass, vampire. This narrative did not Portray her as such. I will just have to skip this audio book and go re-read the e-book.

Excellent story with outstanding narrative

Dick Hill did a wonderful narration. I found myself quickly immersed in the story and his performance was captivating. I could see the story unfold, each character was well definable. I often found myself wishing for “just five more minutes!” Greg Iles story in and if itself was well defined and highly enjoyable. The detail described situations, medical, legal and personal without distraction from the actual story itself. No long drawn out “explanation “ but flowed as natural conversation.
I enjoy a good thriller, mystery action story. Mr. Iles did not disappoint with True Evil.
