Historia
It began on New Year’s Eve. The sickness came on suddenly, and spread quickly. The fear spread even faster. Within weeks, everything people counted on began to fail them. The electrical grid sputtered; law and government collapsed - and more than half of the world’s population was decimated. Where there had been order, there was now chaos. And as the power of science and technology receded, magick rose up in its place.

They say a painting can have a life of its own... In the case of Ghosts in the Mind by Henry Sebastian Hubert, that’s more than just an expression. This painting is reputed to come to life - and to bring death. Wherever it goes, death seems to follow. Danielle Cafferty and Michael Quinn, occasional partners in solving crime, are quickly drawn into the case.

Historia
With indifferent parents, Iona Sheehan grew up craving devotion and acceptance. From her maternal grandmother, she learned where to find both: a land of lush forests, dazzling lakes, and centuries-old legends. Ireland. County Mayo, to be exact. Where her ancestors’ blood and magic have flowed through generations - and where her destiny awaits. Iona arrives in Ireland with nothing but her Nan’s directions, an unfailingly optimistic attitude, and an innate talent with horses.

Her Very Best
Revisado: 10-05-13
Would you listen to The Final Cut again? Why?
Yes, this one had not only an intriguing story, but a can't put it down performance.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Definitely. Catherine Coulter's books all have promise, but the twists in this plot were really interesting.
Have you listened to any of Renee Raudman and MacLeod Andrews ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Don't usually pay attention to the names of the performers. These did an excellent job.
Any additional comments?
Catherine Coulter's books often promise to be great, but about half way through they become easy to predict. This one didn't and i loved it.

Historia
These 36 lectures tell the remarkable story of a tumultuous thousand-year period in the history of England. Dominated by war, conquest, and the struggle to balance the stability brought by royal power with the rights of the governed, it was a period that put into place the foundation of much of the world we know today. As you journey through this largely chronological narrative you'll see key themes emerge, including the assimilation of successive waves of invaders, the tense relationship between kings and the nobility, and the constant battles over money and taxation.

It reads like an historical novel! Loved it!
Revisado: 08-25-13
Where does The Story of Medieval England: From King Arthur to the Tudor Conquest rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I am a listener of novels. This turned out to be a"good read", but not a repeat
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Story of Medieval England: From King Arthur to the Tudor Conquest?
The stories about every-day life
Any additional comments?
Like all of history, the reader makes a choice of the periods and countries they want to read about. This happens to be my favorite thanks to the novelists like Roberta Gellis who placed their stories in these times.

Always a hit!
Revisado: 04-25-13
Would you listen to Whiskey Beach again? Why?
I almost always listen to a Nora Roberts book more than once. She does a great job of putting the reader into the setting. This may not be my favorite, but she's given us a good read again.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Abra, because she is so together. and green-eyed!
What about Peter Berkrot’s performance did you like?
I didn't have a problem with his switching of genders. He didn't force it and it was natural.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Not an extreme reaction, a satisfying reaction. It was a comfortable book and I had a good idea of where it was going. But Nora always does so well on descriptions that I really enjoyed the listen .

Though hardly as naive or as vulnerable as she appears, Tessa knows she has a lot to learn about using her unique gift.
