This review is my effort to live authentically in that I must be honest that while the content of this book is profound and potentially life changing the quality of the audio book is poor. There should be an updated version released that is read by a professional voice actor and not the author that has a very noticeable lisp. Also the chapters need to be labeled to corespond to the chapters in the book. If the chapter in the book is called “introduction” it should be labeled as such in the Audible app. Also chapter 11 on the audiobook as an audio erro at 24 minutes and 30 seconds. This audio book production was low quality and needs to be corrected

The Wolf of Wall Street made me a better investor

This audiobook is an informative and entertaining experience. If you read it you will know more about stocks and investments then 95% of the investing public and be better equipped then some financial advisors to help yourself maintain and grow your wealth for the long term. If you are easily offended by bad words I don’t recommend this book. But I feel they are important to the information provided since they appropriately emphasize the dirty deeds that have gone on and continue to go on in Wall Street. Listen to this book and you will be a better investor period.

Read it cover to Cover and then start again

This book is a must read for anyone looking to change the trajectory of their life and make the most of everyday. Gaining the slight edge philosophy will help you achieve your goals what ever they maybe. It is rare that a book could give wisdom and advise that would be so applicable to what ever pursuit the reader wanted to apply it to. That is what this book offers

Excellent Primer all things Father

I definitely enjoyed this book. It was a great overview of what a future father can do to be prepared or at least have a jumping of point for the issues that could and will arise from having a child. Reading this book was like getting great advise from a trusted friend. It doesn’t drill down too deep on any one issue but does provide enough info so that you can go ahead and do your own research. Also I really appreciated all the studies that were sited as evidence that what was being suggested is based on science. I found myself writing the date of when my baby was going to be at the stage in the book, month one, month two, etc.

Just do this and you will be wealthy

This book offers a great path to wealth and Personal sovereignty for anyone who is willing to spend less than they make an investor difference. JL has cut through all the clutter that the finance industry try’s to throw at their clients and gives you the playbook to cut down on taxes and fees that would rob you of you greatest wealth building tool, compound interest. Read it and do what it says, not just for your future, but your loved ones future as well.

A Excellent Addendum

For people who have read Extreme Ownership and for the uninitiated this is a great book on Leadership. I would highly recommend starting with E.O. and then reading this book, since there a ton of times where they reference that book as they go deeper on a concept from it. The voice acting of Leif and Jocko draw you in and make you feel like you are one of their clients of Echelon Front, learning tryed and true leadership straigies from the front lines of both the battle field and the business world. Get some! You won't regret it.

The Real Deal!

If you want to learn how to generate wealth through real estate and don't want to go to a cheesy seminar then this book is for you. The amount of high quality information that is packed into this book is tremendous. Upon completion of this book you will be able to find, negotiate, close, generate income, and sell any rental property you deem worthy. This book is a very pragmatic and useful resource on your journey to wealth creation via real estate. Get it!

a classic tale told with a masterful voice actor

Jim Dale is a masterful voice actor who has voiced the Harry Potter books among many others. He can bring the story to life in a way very few others can. I listen to the story every year around Christmas time and it never disappoints.

I had heard about this book from a few people but one of the most notable recommendations came from Tony Robbins. He sights this book as a reference point to reframe his seminar attendents that there lives are no were near as tough as what Victor had to endure. I am truly grateful to have taken the time to finally read the book because it is profound! Not only hearing Victor's accounts of that time but also learning about Logotherapy. The simple and eligent idea that a lack of Meaning is at the center of a number of neuroses is at the same time enlightening and at the same time so obvious that you take it for granted. Also that restoring that Meaning will bring a peace and power to your life that you never knew you had. Read it!

required reading for any budding activist

This book by Marcus Eriksen is one of the most comprehensive and engaging pieces of material on the subject of plastic pollution and the environment that I have digested. I have read the books "cradle to cradle" and "upcycle" by William McDonough. They are great, however this book stands out with a compelling story of survival woven in between an education on the past, present, and future of smart environmental policy and restorative action from NGOs, governments, and business. Anyone who wants to be informed on the problem as well as what is required to move forward and improve the situation needs to read this book.
