this book is crap. it is a collection of harem fantasy tropes stuffed into a disjointed collage of uninspired poorly written sex. the somewhat creepy mildly incestuous escapades of the mc have ne fearing for the authors senior relatives. to save you a credit. whimpy prince with ginormous peepee discovers that the girls in his tower want his bits. the word carnal is used excessively. repeated mildly plagiarized characters use his genitals, but it's ok , he loves them. or not. things blow up. plot devices are ignored. this entire mess is a pathetic projection of the disjointed insecurities of the author. it's crap on a cracker all day long.

I really like this series, but using a super modulated bass voice for every freaking character with power or size is wretched. it made some chapters unintelligible and others simply unpleasant. I'm glad the narrators got new toys, but how could they think they produced a good product?

this was a fun book, unfortunately Mr. Baldree as a narrator is a mixed blessing as he is amazing, but severely over extended so new books take forever. great book unbearable wait.

3 books to learn to love a world and the people in it only to be dragged to earth and listen to captain emo and the enablers for 2 and most likely 3 books. of the author wanted an earth based book he should have written one separately. this was a 19 hour slog of waiting for something to happen that never really did. listen for potential future context but not much else.

this is the fist time that I know of that Travis Baldree hasn't been able to save a book. excessive points of view and pointless sex scenes kill this title. honestly a truly uninspired cultivation knock off that ends up feeling like an 11 hour preamble to a mediocre story. Will give the second installment a chance but I am not holding my breath.
