Everything was supposed to be fine. Keaton was going to cure all of the Loup Mountain wolves and monsters, and we were going to head back to my old apartment for some space and alone time to figure out what we wanted to do about...well, everything. But then we realized we had bigger problems. The Loup Mountain werewolves think I'm their Alpha. Most of them are set on staying in Lyka Bay, even if it means living in the forest for the foreseeable future. The ones that aren't so set on forest-living want me dead, so that my gift will transfer to someone else.

After the wolf I thought was wild shifts into a teenage boy, he leads me and Keaton to another town of half-cured lycans, and we're exposed to a whole new world. We thought the lycans were monsters...but there's something worse. And if we can't figure out how to cure them, there's a good chance they'll kill us.

Fate makes no exceptions. When stepping into a town full of werewolves like me for the first time in my life, I expected to be welcomed - or at least tolerated. Instead, I got hit in the face with a door. And then, found my dad's face on a dartboard in their diner. The people there need my help, but I can't help them unless I tell them who I am. And telling them who I am just might get me killed. The one connection I find comes in the form of a gorgeous, inked-up chemist who's the only person in town that doesn't hate me.
