I loved this book, Alice Hoffman joins humans , nature and animals into a fascinating story.
Descendants of this town founded in the early 1700 to current . Nancy Travis is great narrating warmth and excitement.

Just not for me...

This is another story of two damaged people who find supposed happiness with each other. The beginning was great! After they met, the story went down hill. The last 3 hours is the two characters fighting and making up, and I could have dealt with that, but the sex scenes were mediocre and grossed me out. The main character is Ellery and she is a psycho who constantly starts ridiculous fights and throws heavy objects at the rich 30 year old CEO who loves her anyway. I stopped listening after the third fight/makeup cycle, I can't stand the unhealthy relationships that stay together because they are "so in love" even though they say horrific things to each other. If you like the drama and bad makeup sex cycles then go ahead, but I could not finish.

Amazing as always!

Jennifer Armentrout is just pure magic. Her characters come alive and I almost feel like I am part of this group of friends in this series. This is Roxy's story, the bartender from the previous book. I love that each of the characters have their own complicated back story and that each character appears in each book so we get to see a little peek into what they are doing now after their books. I am getting carried away here, but if you listen to this series you will completely understand! Well worth a credit and maybe two!

Not a great Vampire Romance.

This was a cheesy vampire romance novel, sad that I wasted a credit. Typical college girl that is damaged in some way, (abused, etc) meets vampire boy. They are instantly in love and boy becomes over-protective and obsessive. Im not going to waste any more time reviewing this because the book was not even worth this much of my time!

Really enjoyed this book!

I truly enjoyed this story and the new supernatural world that this author has created. This type of fantasy novel is very different than what I usually choose, but I am so glad that I took a chance! The strory is about Rowen, a strong female heroine, and how she lives in a country in which magic is forbidden and hunted. She meets Aren, an evil magic user from the neighboring country, and saves his life. He becomes fascinated by her and slowly he starts to care for her, eventually they fall for each other. I really enjoyed the concept and world that the author has created and I look forward to the next book being released in audio. Narrator did a great job as always, Justine Eyre is the best narrator that audible has along with Amanda Ronconi of course! Well worth your credit!!!

Hot Rockstars!

This is a great book, complete with the hot rock band, groupies, roadies, and a double decker tour bus. The heroine is just so adorable and easy to relate to! Definitely worth the credit and I am looking forward to listening to the other members of the band find their loves.

Horrible Audio!!!

Please take my advice and DO NOT waste a credit or even money on this book. The audio is way too fast and it sounds like one run-on sentence. The narrator did not even breathe between chapters. I slowed it down in an attempt to listen and it was skipping horribly.

I rarely give negative reviews, but I thought it was my duty to let listeners know. And besides the audio being bad, the story is completely cheeseball as well. I might have overlooked this and listened anyway, but I just couldn't get past the audio.

Truly enjoyable, fabulous book. Seth did an amazing job with the historical aspects! I love history, but most history books can be boring unfortunately. This books make history fun with the supernatural effects added! I love Henry and I think that Abe is my historical crush! To think he could have been behind the scenes of so many famous events!

Andrews does a great job with narration, as always. 😀

I highly recommend this book, you will not be disappointed! I hope that after that Epilogue Seth plans on continuing Henry's adventures; the first and last American Vampire!!!
