Just mediocre
Revisado: 01-16-19
The narrator did not help the story at all. I found parts that I wanted to listen to, but most was just a waste of time. The ending was abysmal. I wanted to know what was going to happen and I never did.

Historia
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand.

The best
Revisado: 12-09-18
This story is beautifully painted. You can see all the creatures she is talking about. It unfolds slowly and deliberately. The ending is not as I expected. Well written and incredibly enjoyable. Not an extra unnecessary word.

Very slow moving
Revisado: 09-18-18
Sometimes you couldn't wait for the next word and other times you were ready to throw in the towel. Too much flipping back and forth in the timeline. No consistency. Characters hard to follow because of timeline. Presentation was good. Ending was good.

Historia
In this spectacular saga as radiant, thrilling, and beguiling as Hollywood itself, Adriana Trigiani takes us back to Tinsel Town's golden age - an era as brutal as it was resplendent - and into the complex and glamorous world of a young actress hungry for fame and success. With meticulous, beautiful detail, Trigiani paints a rich, historical landscape of 1930s Los Angeles, where European and American artisans flocked to pursue the ultimate dream: to tell stories on the silver screen.

Would you try another book from Adriana Trigiani and/or Blair Brown?
I love Adriana Trigiani. this book was a dissapointment
Has All the Stars in the Heavens turned you off from other books in this genre?
I didn't like the fact it was biographical. I like more of a non fiction story.
Have you listened to any of Blair Brown’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have not listened to Blair Brown
Do you think All the Stars in the Heavens needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
No. The story was complete.
