Woven tales
Revisado: 02-09-17
What does Melissa Eccleston and Humphrey Bower bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Indeed, the narration kept the stories moving even when I wondered if I might lose a thread.
Any additional comments?
It was a great system for including stories of the time from differing points of view.

What did you love best about The Woman Who Walked In Sunshine?
The characters evolved, and their philosophies morphed.
Any additional comments?
The storytelling was so well done. I didn't need quite so many plots, but it kept me interested nonetheless.

What would have made Commonwealth better?
The characters seemed flat to me
Any additional comments?
I didn't listen very far into the book, and wished I hadn't spent my credit on it.

not interesting
Revisado: 02-09-17
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
The writing didn't carry me along, as did his other books.
What could Alexander McCall Smith have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
I'm not sure, but I couldn't get into it. It was a waste of my Audible credit.
What about Susan Lyons’s performance did you like?
Her reading was fine.
