We listened to this during our vacation to Yellowstone National Park with our nine year old granddaughter. We enjoyed listening and anxiously awaited the next chapter.

A Great Book for Understand So Many things

I enjoyed the entire book, especially the chapter where the Greek philosophers engaged in a discussion of their world views and argued the differences between Athens and Sparta.

What did you like best about this story?

I worked in Yellowstone in the early 1960s, returned to visit it as often as possible, and was there the summer the wolves were reintroduced to the park.

Which scene was your favorite?

The battle between the Lamars and the new packs.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I couldn't but wanted to.

Where does Forged rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It was one of the most informative factually.

What did you like best about this story?

The large number of distortions in the New Testament, about which they never told you in Sunday School.

Which scene was your favorite?

All were interesting and I especially liked the new picture of Paul, not as a male chauvinist, but as a real man who valued women as essentially equal to men.

Any additional comments?

I have long questioned much of what was written in the New Testament. I believe Jesus was one of the greatest people who ever lived; however, I have felt his life was misrepresented by many of the writings of the New Testament. This book confirms much of what I, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and other founding fathers believed of the New Testament.

Any document written over one hundred years after events must be filled with what the writers thought, not what actually occurred,

Really Interesting, But Where's the Beef

Yes, this was very interesting.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

His discussion of drug and alcohol addition, and the ongoing recovery.

Listening to the book was like hearing an interesting, rambling conversation with Neal. I enjoyed the stories he told and the history of his life; however, I though the book was going to give details of Pono, Young's new audio format. Instead it discussed how good Pono is but gave no details as to format, equipment needed to play it or any additional data. The same was true about his electric car.

I would recommend the book to any fan of Neil Young for the life story it tells.
