Historia
Heather Morell is haunted. Otherworldly nightmares and monstrous hallucinations lurk around every corner, relics of childhood bereavement and schizophrenia. Until she meets Evelyn and Raine—a bad-tempered mage and her self-proclaimed bodyguard—and learns that she’s not insane after all. The monsters she sees are all too real, the god-thing in her nightmares is teaching her the secrets of creation, and her twin sister—the lost girl who supposedly never existed—might still be clinging on, a dwindling soul somewhere beyond the walls of reality, Outside.

Great story, great narrator
Revisado: 07-12-24
There are few cosmic horror stories that really make you feel the cosmic horror, and this one does that. Its characters are fleshed out and its story has a good flow/pace to it to keep you entertained.
The narrator did an amazing job! I truly feel that there couldn’t have been anyone better to narrate this story.

Good as, if not better than, the others!
Revisado: 06-29-23
This series has consistently been great! I can’t wait for the next book to come out! The author is very dedicated to writing a good book and also in producing books in a timely fashion. The narrator is now one of my favorites!

Historia
Of course, if there were only one thing under Liscor, there would be far less to fear. However, the dungeon continues to be a threat. At the same time, Goblins continue to roam northern Izril, but not all of them are as hostile to people as Tremborag or the Goblin Lord. Will the Unseen Emperor of Riverfarm make that distinction, however? A reckoning is coming as old faces and new reemerge. And all the while, The Wandering Inn is still serving food and respite and even plays to adventurers and Antinium alike. But something is coming from the dungeons. And it—they—are hungry.

Historia
Life’s tough when you’re trapped in an eight-year-old body on another world. His name is Eight. Not really, but that’s what the System decided after a slip of the tongue. One moment, he was stepping out the office door on the way home, and the next waking up on a hillside below a town wall. Oh, and the gate guard drove him off, because he thought Eight was a monster. What’s a boy to do in a world full of magic and so many, many hungry creatures searching for their next meal? Well, there’s an old man inside that body, and he'll use everything he’s learned to survive.

He has the ability to modify any item he owns; to upgrade anything. Sounds great on paper. Almost like a video game. Except that the amount of power it takes to actually change, modify, or upgrade anything worthwhile is beyond his abilities. At least, that was until Felix leveraged a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to give himself a great deal of points. Investing in Super Heroes and Super Villains and owning them. Using them, Felix built up an empire: an organization by the name of Legion.

Constant sex talk gets in the way of the story
Revisado: 03-09-23
I used to really love this series and I waited anxiously for the next one to come out. However, it feels like the author put himself into a corner with the storyline and decided he needed a blank slate to start over, so he comes up with little to no reason for him to be transported to another world and for his powers to get changed to better suit the story.
That doesn’t even take into account how horny the author must have been while writing this. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that half the book is just him “sexy-talking” his girls.
I would have really enjoyed the story if the author actually got around to telling it instead of the non-stop sexual stuff.
I have no issue with the narrator, he’s as good as he always is.

Revisado: 12-28-22
The books was just as great as the other books, but they changed narrators. I don’t have anything against this narrator, I think he’s fine, but changing narrators in the middle of a book series is always hard to get used to.

Historia
They called him Sven, the Shatterfist. One of a group of heroes who fought the Demon Lord Mannon. He's finally returned home. But for Sven, after returning from abroad, life isn't what it used to be. Adventuring isn't what it used to be. Things have changed. Something is different. The obvious next step? Retire. Settle down. Start his own tavern. Drink with magic girls. Maybe not in that order.

Narrator stopping and starting kind of ruins it.
Revisado: 01-12-22
The overall story is fine, it’s just that the narrator keeps adding brief but noticeable pauses between what I assume are Skills or Items in the book. For example, within the first couple minutes the narrator is like “She fired the …Arrow and the …Arrow it the hydra’s eye.” It wouldn’t be so bad if this wasn’t happening in literally every other sentence.
