All the things that happened to Mary and other characters were just so awful and described with such horrifying details. There were moments I didn’t even want to listen. But I knew this was a story I wanted to hear the end of. So I keep on to the very end, and I’m glad I did.

Loved the characters

At first I wondered about the young girl telling the story. I wasn't sure if I was going to like that. But I learned to really enjoy her perspective, the characters, and the plot. It kept twisting. I had to buy the second book also. I wish it was already on Audio. I bought it as a Kindle book.
