Historia
Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town where she grew up—she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. And when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life seems too good to be true.

Pulled at my heart
Revisado: 09-02-24
Such a touching real life story everyone should read to help understand abuse others inflict on the ones who love them.
I disliked some of the curse words but also realize that is part of real life too.
I’m 63. Especially the epilogue brought out buried emotions from my own childhood.

I didn’t know

So much history which gets lost and buried. I’m glad I was able to listen to this book before seeing the movie.
Sadly murders still go on today which are never solved. Not only in the Indigenous people but all people.

The book offers practical, compassionate advice on overcoming caregiving obstacles and maintaining meaningful relationships with loved ones who have dementia and memory loss.

My mother and my MIL are both dealing with dementia. Two very different cases. My family is on the same care giving track with my mother. With my MIL her daughter has been the challenge. While the family sees the needed care my SIL is as challenging as my MIL.
This being said k is very helpful. Now if only my SIL will open up to some guidance and learning on how to treat dementia people.
Listening to the book on audible allowed me to multi task. I will also be able to go back to important notes. I highly recommend this book.
