Very enjoyable

Sometimes there is a narrartor that is so skilled at their craft that I find myself hearing different sexes by the voice and forget that a single person is doing both male and female voices; this is one of them! The storyline of this, first book of the series, captured my imagination by the end of chapter 1. Definitely worth a listen!

Seriously disappointed

Up until now the story was great, full of action. But by Chapter three of this book I was extremely disappointed by the political turn of the series; if I wanted politics I would watch the fight between Biden and trump on CNN! Seriously stop at the last book, don't go any farther!

Improbable

I'm sorry but two ten month year old humans having the abilities of a three, or four year old is so far fetched that I can't buy into it. Even in a sci-fi environment you have to be planted in some sort of reality. This storyline is to unbelievable to begin to be imaginable.

Poor performance

The storyline for book 5 isn't too bad although it is not up to the first four books. The editing is really bad, there are a lot of sentences being repeated and large sections of several chapters in the beginning that are nothing but blank space. The performer is quite bad, he is very monotone and it is very obvious he is reading the story and not telling the story. I would be willing to listen to more books by this author but only if they are not read by this performer.

Disappointing

The author should have stopped at "Inheritance". The storyline is boring and unimaginative. It's a shame the series should continue with something so predictable and dull.

Unique!

Annie and Violet are two of the most entertaining characters I've come across since "The Wandering Inn". There is an odd sense of humor that works for me and I love it. Not only is this a good read for adults it is a great read for young adults as well. Jf your looking for light humor, great characters and no turture or slavery then give this one a try.

I HATE this cat!

The plots are so predictable that if you don’t know the killer by the end of the first chapter you won’t be introduced to it until the second to the last chapter. The protagonist is a complete idiot and the only reason I would listen to another book in this series is if the author guarantees the cat dies horribly. I have never hated a character more than this cat!
