Historia
It began in a women's club in London on a February afternoon. A discreet advertisement in The Times, addressed to "Those who Appreciate Wistaria and Sunshine..." lures four very different women away from the dismal British weather to San Salvatore, a castle high above a bay on the sunny Italian Riviera. There, the Mediterranean spirit stirs the souls of Mrs Arbuthnot, Mrs Wilkins, Lady Caroline Dester, and Mrs Fisher, and remarkable changes occur.

Like taking a vacation
Revisado: 03-18-24
This was the perfect book to read in the middle of a gray February. I felt like I had taken a vacation myself. Full of delightful little twists and turns and enchantment. The narrator was perfect.

New and improved production
Revisado: 05-30-19
I bought this years ago and loved James Earl Jones' narration (who wouldn't), but it had terribly distracting, cheesy background music. The file was recently updated on my account without explanation and I was pleasantly surprised to find the music was gone. I'm surprised this doesn't violate Audible's promise that the audiobooks are mine to keep forever, but that's a theoretical question for another time. Huge improvement of the production....and of course, the book itself is well worth a listen.
