Totally enjoyed this book as much as the other 1-7. I hope this won’t be the last. The two authors create really great storylines. Although the main characters have a 20 year age age, you don’t quite notice after a while.

Didn’t Hold my Attention

It took me a while to finish these books. I thought being stuck at home during pandemic I’d breeze through, but I found myself losing interest somewhere in book 3!

It’s only fiction

I can understand why some readers won’t like this story. There’s a lot of sex scenes interspersed in areas where it’s not necessary. But if that’s what you like, you’ll enjoy reading.
I thought the main female character was quick to jump into a sexual encounter just getting divorced, considering how they meet; but it’s only fiction!

A hard listen

This story was so very hard to listen to. So much extreme violence done to a female and why? Just to own someone, to inflict so much pain?? Her “owner” was a sadistic s.o.b.
I found myself in tears several times listening to the descriptions of torture no one should endure. Yet human trafficking is happening now.
This story has affected/depressed me and I’m not sure I can listen to the remainder of this series.

Although the storyline was predictable I was pleasantly surprised to hear special effects with the narration. It really helped me enjoy the short story even more. Looking forward to listening to the next one, just wish it wouldn’t be so short.

Narrator’s voice.

I have to admit I enjoyed the storyline and characters in the first and this second book, but I find the narrator’s voice when changing into different characters very grating and droll! Especially when attempting a female pitch.
I’ll try to listen to the third book in the series- not sure I’ll make it to the end listening to that voice!

Absolutely loved this.

I’ve read this ebook and now listened to it. I️ love the storyline and all the characters involved. The chemistry between Ember and Angelo absolutely sizzles.
My only issue with audio version was the falsetto voice of narrator when speaking for Ember and Laura!

I enjoyed the storyline but couldn't fully enjoy the narration. I found Sebastian York's voice dull and lacking any emotion reading his chapters. Although the chemistry is blazing between Talon and Jade, I felt like I was reading part 1 script of a made for tv miniseries with sex added.

I was hoping this would be more than just a re telling of when Anastasia and Christian met. Thought it would've at least covered the three books but sadly only the first one. If they decide to this again for the other 2 books, I won't be buying them!
