When I began learning Spanish I would watch movies and TV shows to help my listening and vocabulary skills. Pan's Labyrinth is a classic and must-watch for Spanish students.

could have been an interesting Sunday Story

I was interested to listen to this topic. Unfortunately, I the tired "imperialistic male" narrative made listening such a bore. Glacial melt is an important issue but such a presentation turns audiences away. Sadly, some people never seem to realize that.

What could have been a valuable, informative podcast episode of course gets siderailed by woke culture blaming racism/ sexism/ binaryism etc. for the narrator feeling intimidated to start strength training. Starting any new endeavor can be intimidating for anyone; it was laughable that the narrator felt the need to go this route. What a waste of time this episode was and that's sad since this was the first NPR Health Kit episode I've listened to. I hope the rest are better.

Classic story, great voice actor, horrible audio

I feel so bad for having to return this audible book. The Old Man and The Sea is a timeless classic. Donald Sutherland's voice is perfect for the story. The audio quality, however, is so bad that I regrettably had to return the title; it is barely possible to listen to. It sounds like it was recorded with one of those cheap audio recorders that you'd get at a Radio Shack back in the day.
