Oh, my heart, what a poignant story! Emilie is such a strong woman who would do everything to save the man she loves, even when it seems impossible... And there is this one creepy character that I wanted to strangle...
Shari Ryan wrote this novel with empathy and respect to victims of war, I felt it with every page. I highly recommend this touching book to ALL WWII historical fiction fans.

Another brillant book in the series! The twist with Troy was a huge surprise and I couldn't stop listening to the audiobook because I wanted to know what's going to happen next! In my opinion, Carolyn Arnold is a master of crime fiction.

Carolyn Arnold did it once more! She delivered another page turner filled with suspense! This is my favorite series and I always look forward to the next book with Amanda and Trent solving another case. I do think that they would make a great couple, not only when comes to their jobs!!! I hope this series will never end!

It was extremely hard to put this gripping book down! So many twists and turns keep you busy right from the very beginning to the end. Ryan's book is a breath of fresh air within the psychological thriller genre. I highly recommend this 5-star read!

This is the type of book that you can’t put it down. Beautifully written, tells a story of a Polish doctor helping others during WW2. It’s also a love story between people from two different worlds. This book is truly a page-turner with so many twists. Highly recommend it!
