I already loved the original gothic romanticism literary tale and this new rendition has unexpected twists and it is packed with action. So much fun to listen to! What an immersive experience!

Wow my favorite book narrated by Tim Curry!

This is my favorite book and after 20 years since I first picked it up at Borders Books, I have read and reread it 14 times. It’s Resident Evil meets necromancer Harry Potter. What a beautiful concept of Charter magic as borne to most all from the Olde Kingdom as if it’s the Bermuda Triangle of a mysterious and practically alternate universe. Then the River of Death as the afterlife with the 9 Gates is my favorite metaphor come fantasy story. The narration has Tim Curry and he is a great theatrical voice actor with a flair for character voices!
This was so much fun to listen to instead of rereading the book! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
