I loved this right up until the ending. All that character development and no real ending. just....ugh. made me wish there was another five chapters or so to flush out the ending more.

Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Finally, some truth.
Revisado: 02-20-24
So I've always been curious about the royals (as a history buff I enjoy reading about the families that stood out) but I hate how in the limelight they are and how we (as people of the world) while curious can't seem to stop and just let them live their lives. I hope Prince Harry and his family find peace. Hearing his truth, from him, really made me have a roller coaster of emotions. I recently lost my mother (and I'm at the age of 41) and it's devastating. I remember being a kid and watching her funeral on TV and thinking to myself how cruel it was to make the boys walk behind her coffin. I am the same age as William (we were born two days apart) but it's just so much trauma in being a royal and then what happened with Princess Diana was tragic and unnecessary. Hearing Harry deal with it all, and NOT deal with it, enhances how human the royals are. Later, how the royal family are desensitizing what the press did to Meghan, and he's only trying to stand up for his wife? It's crazy. Anyone who says he's whining clearly hasn't lived through trauma and then had to explain it. Excellent book. Also, Harry should narrate for a job. He's got a great voice, tone and speed for it!

Agatha is pregnant and works part time stocking shelves at a grocery store in a ritzy London suburb, counting down the days until her baby is due. As the hours of her shifts creep by in increasing discomfort, the one thing she looks forward to at work is catching a glimpse of Meghan, the effortlessly chic customer whose elegant lifestyle dazzles her. Meghan has it all: two perfect children, a handsome husband, a happy marriage, and a stylish group of friends, and she writes perfectly droll confessional posts on her popular parenting blog.

yawn
Revisado: 01-15-24
Got about six hours into this one and stopped. it's a very typical crazy lady fakes pregnancy to get a baby story. I'm not sure why so many people liked this one. I didn't even finish it I got so bored. Skip it if you like your plots to actually move, it's very slow and predictable.

story is good, as always.
Revisado: 11-28-21
The story is good but the narrator is annoying as usual. You can tell this is a setup book though. It leaves a lot to be desired in the way of things coming together but you can tell it's definitely setting you up for the next book. hopefully the next book will be a little bit better. I really enjoy the Outlander series and I would like to see it continue to flourish.

Pretty good overall.
Revisado: 11-24-20
It's a typical happy, predictable romance novel. I took off a star due to the narration.
The narrator, Jorjeana Marie, either has a really bad old fashioned tape recorder or birds, because there's a consistent type of chirping noise in the background that's very distracting while wearing earbuds. You can also hear her swallowing a lot and long pauses where there shouldn't be pauses. Her accents aren't great and it's hard to distinguish person to person and narration at times. Also, her male voices are, to be kind, not very good , Honestly, the narration effects the read. If I were the author, I'd ask for it to be re-done by someone else. Buy it on paperback (something I never really say unless the narration is truly bad). You'll enjoy it more.

Historia
There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

an excellent book!
Revisado: 09-17-20
I've read a lot of books and I normally don't read reviews because I have read so many, and generally know where the plot is headed before it even starts. I still enjoy reading I still enjoy a good book and I picked this one up because it struck a cord of interest in just the title alone. while I have read many books of the genre, and while I could also figure out where this one was going, it was still a really good read. each of the characters had a very distinct voice and the narration definitely helped with that. The narrator has a very good way of giving each character their own spot in your head. A lot of times narrators kind of muddle the characters where male and female sound alike regardless of the character, and this narrator definitely stood out to me because they gave each character an independent voice. I especially enjoyed the voicing of the bad guys. 🐙!
The story read very much like one of my dreams, yes I do indeed have very weird dreams, and I think I also had enjoyed it because of that. I love history so the little touches of history here and there, real and invented, were beautifully put in. A great overall story, with very developed characters, and I didn't want to put it down. I very much recommend this book.

finally!
Revisado: 02-04-20
I read several books recently and this one is finally one that I haven't been able to guess the ending within the first few chapters. Even at the middle of the book I was still guessing. It was a nice refreshing change. It did go one of the ways I guessed however I'm completely okay with it. I like how everything was settled at the end. I like books that wind everything together, and don't have stupid endings that you can gas really quickly. this book was very well read by the reader and very well written by the author. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and I don't normally leave reviews, but this one is totally worth buying.
