Dawson and Sinclair's story was pretty nice! Loved the narrator yet again the this second book. Would have liked a little more steam, but overall it was a really nice story, charming and fun to listen too.

The story itself was okay, but I would have liked more character development and background story. The intertitle all through the story inside the chapters were driving me crazy. I often felt like I already listened to that part, but it was told again on another way. I think I heard the words "anxiety" and "shared trauma" at least a hundred times. I felt like I was in a lecture by a psychologist more than in a mystery book.
Overall, the story was OK but could have been really better. The narrator was 5/5 though, I really liked his voice and he was easy on the ears.

Unfortunately this one didn't do it for me. I would have liked a little more caracter development, and, while the narrator has a really beautiful and soothing voice, it turned me off when she made the man's voice. The heat scenes we're okay at best for an erotica.
I'm pretty sure I would have liked it better with a little more story.

The best ending to a beautiful story

What a beautiful serie this was! Tobias is a wonderful narrator when you get used to his accent. I hope to listen to more books narrated by him in the future.
The story of Kim and Kit was full of surprises, just enough things happening to keep me invested all through it. It was definitely different from the steamy stories I read/listen to usually, but it was a nice change of pace. I was invested!
I'll certainly be coming back to this book someday, just to remember every details of this story, and listen to the narrator's beautiful voice again.

Just... wow!
I'm invested now! Can't wait to start the 3rd book of this story.
After a bit of struggling with his accent on the first book, I finally fell in love with this narrator. He has such a nice and charismatic voice.
I hope Kim and Kit will finally get their HEA in the next book. Their struggles are real..!
What to say of Devlin? He better change his attitude right now, before I'm starting a fire in his car!!!

Interesting story

This is my first book from this author. I struggled a bit at first with the narrator voice that got a British (I think??) accent. But after a couple chapters it was okay and now I'm liking it. His voice his soothing in some way.
Now for the story, I thought there would be some heat in it at some point. Maybe there will be in the second. To be honest I went and listened to it without checking anything about it! I think it's the slowest of slow burn I've seen in a while lol
But Kim and Kit are definitely interesting enough that I finished the book faster than I thought, and I'm on my way through the second tome now.

It was my first book from this author but definitely not the last. The characters were charming, and the aunt was fire!
The story was beautifully narrated, I listened to it in a day. Must read/listen if you love cute stories with nice characters and an HEA.
